Swinging on a Branchby JinboComment by Sherri1209: Original. I like that you did something different. Bravo. The focus is sharp and the colors pop. Maybe a tighter shot/crop leaving some of the excess area at the top out would have enhanced the image....regardless a nice job. |

Swinging on a Branchby JinboComment by Caine: A cute picture of the little girl, but that's not the subject and without the title it misses the brief altogether. |

Swinging on a Branchby JinboComment by amyrh: I like the focus and the exression on the girls face but I don''t like how I can't see the branch at all. |

Swinging on a Branchby JinboComment by racb: Nice shot. I love how we can soo movement through the wind in the hair. I find the dark blob in the bottom corner distracting, though. I also wish we could see the branch. |

Swinging on a Branchby JinboComment by Germaine: That's a lovely picture of th elittle girl. I especially like how you've captured her hair. But I don't think I can really consider what she's swinging on a branch. It looks like a plain old playground toy. |

Hiking Bootsby JinboComment by Jinbo: What the h#$@? this photo is my second highest scored entry. And I really did not expect it. I did this photo in only 30 minutes in total. I just thought to submit something. not really paying too much attention like I did on other entries. I guess it is really hard to explain what people likes...
Anyway, I found majority of commentors were bothered by the little stone. lol. I am sorry for that. I will remove it next time. :D
As for how to take this photo. It is rather easy. I have my boots ready, obviously. I put them on my white carpet in front of a white wall. Then put my camera on the floor too. then use the builtin meter to make white wall and carpet slight over exposed. In PS, I rotated it 26.8 degree (If I remembered correctly). Just regular post processing. I did played curve intensively though.
Thanks again for your vote (high or low) and comments! |
