I wonder how this would look if you cropped up to be square or even 4:3, so as to exclude enough of the horse's rump that it was not immediately recognizable/prominent.

I'm ignoring the graininess and purple fringing although I must say that a layer of gaussian blur would have done wonders for this pic, especially with the really strong highlights.

Love the pov. Great eye. Incredible detail with the eye and eyelashes (who knew?!). Just to nit, the horizontal green leaf looks like it's poking his eye. Might have cloned that out :-)

The background is a little distracting because of the leaves. Maybe a better bokeh would be great! I really like the light and the choice for this beatiful horse, but i would like to see it from another perspective.
