kaleidoscopicby KAOSComment by KAOS: Thanks for your comments! It's strange - I just wanted to check out, how it works, to do something very different... it does, to some degree! Had also this objects in water and objects in buildings and buildings in buildings photos, maybe they would have got a better score, but I liked this one very much... so I wanted to know, what you're thinking about... so, thanks for the comments... kaleidoscopicby KAOSComment by jsabbarton: Weird, the symmetry works quite well to a point. The shot is almost entirely made up of dramatic diagonals with the exception of the bottom right third area, where there is an area of parallels. This adds an element of unwanted conflict – in my opinion – that draws the eye away from the overall effect of the patterns. For me, the effect damages the shot at a subliminal level - this may also make others vote it down but be unsure why they didn't like the shotâ€Â¦ The idea itself is solid, but the outcome is somewhat uncontrollableâ€Â¦ (4) |

kaleidoscopicby KAOSComment by daysez: Cool image, but a kaleidoscope uses mirrors. Comment updated 10/1/02 13:50 I have never seen a kaleidoscope that uses crystals, could you tell me more about it, I love them. Moved up to one of my top ten picks. daysez |
