Autumn Watersby OdysseyF22Comment by srdanz: This one is similar to another one in the challenge, however, the composition is slightly better. The overall tone of the image has been seen on the DPC front page before, and this one may not be an exception. Good luck! |

When the Day Is Done...by OdysseyF22Comment by fotodude: this to me is a well done still life with the right level of noise/grain for a photo, u could even go a tad higher, but this is really well done, i can actualy see the subject (which isn't the grain itself) and it has a good staging, and a fair enough framing a little bland and front on, would be my 1 critique- good luck |

When the Day Is Done...by OdysseyF22Comment by RiderGal: Personally, I feel you could have played with your lighting and set up a bit more here... I'm not sure the harsh shadows lend well to the photo. The grain is fine for this image... the image just doesn't look coherrent to me for some reason... I'm not drawn in to any one thing... |

18mmby OdysseyF22Comment by mycelium: good old 18mm...
for all-purpose control of bright skies, try duplicating the sky (select it and copy it to another layer) and set the layer's blending mode to "multiply." that often helps a lot. |

18mmby OdysseyF22Comment by KaDi: This looks like the Binghamton University Nature Preserve....What happened to the tree! And why weren't you at the DPC Ithaca Get Together today?
(If this is not the BU preserve and you have no idea what I'm talking about, please forgive me...I'll edit later and give you a proper comment.) |
