Celebrating Freedomby loriprophotoComment by dwterry: Mask out the weeds and twigs when you do the sharpening. Your sharpening looks perfect on the horse, but it's distracting everywhere else. Otherwise, I love this picture! 7. |

Celebrating Freedomby loriprophotoComment by Tammer: A nice entry and interpretation of celebration. The foreground looks a bit out of focus and blurry on my screen. I also wonder what this would have looked like if there was some hint of a blue sky in the background. Somehow showing more landscape to give an even greater sense of celebrating freedom? |

The White of Her Wild Eyeby loriprophotoComment by tpoc: "woah! oh my gosh!"--initial comment upon download.
the image is hard at first for me to comprehend because i have to scroll up and down to see the whole thing, and the closeness of the shot takes a moment to register what i'm looking at...but,
powerful image...it really conveys that wildness. i wish i could see the eye straight on, looking into the camera so that the viewer really gets hit with that wild eye. or a side shot including more of the horse's head to add context. very nice dof. very creative idea for an image. the skin has a bit of light bouncing off of it, which detracts just a bit from the eye, but the black lids direct you back to it. powerful. |

Celebrating Freedomby loriprophotoComment by taterbug: Very nice photo. Good composition, great exposure and focus. Good detail. Awesome subject. Some voters may see the relevance to the challenge a little loose, but I quite like it. Great job. |

Celebrating Freedomby loriprophotoComment by tpoc: pretty horse, awkward lighting. the left half of its face disappears into shadow, and the colors of the surroundings look washed out by the sun. i wonder what this would look like shot from other angles more complimentary to the natural lighting? |

Celebrating Freedomby loriprophotoComment by Chinabun: beautiful horse, the left side of the photo, right side of horses face is a too dark..dosent show enough detail. image could be a little sharper. |
