Technically, it's got good composition, the tight crop is nice and the shot doesn't suffer from being smaller than most. But the only thing in focus are the coffee beans directly below and to the right of the flower. However, the flower is the central focal point, but it's woefully out of focus. Lighting and color are good though. Bumping up one on a second look.

I would like this a lot better if the image were larger and didn't look oversharpened. I appreciate your novel approach to the challenge; a flower who's petals contrasted more with the color of the beans (yellow, for example) might have had more of an impact.

don't known if it's me or my monitor but the DOF seems a little too near. Nice contrast though
