2 - Looks a bit snapshottish, despite some pp. Getting down to CJ's level might have helped this. Changing the environment as well, not complementing CJ and too distracting overall. Frame detracts.

For me, this image would be more effective with a different background setting. I find the wires and sneakers in the upper left distracting. CJ is very sweet though and looks kind of sad in this picture.

Great dog. The harsh lighting brings out too much of the green carpet and shair and does not highlight the dog. I would recommend cropping the photo to highlight the great eyes and try to use natural light instead of a flash - for example try to get a picture with the dog outside
