Two For the Southby missinseattleComment by tcmartin: Nice colors. Bird shots are really tough. You did a nice job keeping the light areas away from being blown out which is common, but I feel like both birds should have been sharply focused and any pro bird shooter will advise you to ALWAYS hit a eye glint. |

Two For the Southby missinseattleComment by Kemptonreporter: There's two birds, and that makes the brief fulfilled, certainly.
They just seem to be perched a bit uncomfortably within the picture.
Makes me feel "weird" looking at it.
Like I'm unsettled.
I think that a slightly better choice of composition would have helped the viewer (well, me) feel more at ease within your photo.
That said, I'm impressed at their synchronised preening routine.
Well done on capturing that! |

Beaverdam Parkby missinseattleComment by missinseattle: I knew it was WAY overpixilated when I entered it. Was having a duh moment and entered it anyways. I have the original posted in the outakes thread if anyone would like to see.
Thank for all the helpful comments- even though I knew what the problem was. At least I didn't come in dead last! lmao |
