was the photomanipulated, i wonder due to the colors in squares all around the pic...it's a good shot...the pixels could possibly be what is causing the pic to be less crisp

Looks like you've got a nice set up - I think that the focus and lighting hurt you here. Still, there are definitely some positive things here too. Love the dried roses - nice touch. Keep at it - and try posting some other things in your portfolio. I'd be happy to comment on them at any time. :-)

Looks like you got great focus and color with your shot. I think your score suffered greatly because of the image size (not taking full advantage of the 640 max side limit). That being said, I think it's a cute shot with character. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
