'' KiNDer Surprise '' always surprises ...by MeShoKhaNComment by Arcanist: Lighting balance is not kind. Too light on the whites, not enough on the darks. ( Good choice to expose properly on the darks giving detail to the shadows rather than the detail in the whites. )
Use of a frontal light or strobe (fill flash) with a lower exposure would have given detail in the whites while properly exposing the shadows.
Great image, hurt by some blow outs, but not enough to ruin the image's impact. Honorable mention, for subject, arrangement and finesse. |

Becomes Past ...by MeShoKhaNComment by hanneke: yeah it's a dead tree. maybe it could be an idea to shoot it upwards from the stem of the tree instead of shooting straight forward. |

GeometricaL Station ...by MeShoKhaNComment by electina: Maybe if you had gotten closer to get a detail and to lose some of the distracting background elements this would be stronger. It's a compelling sculpture and I like it's colors. |
