I think your subject is looking too far to the side. Seems a bit odd.

I can hear it "slinky, slinky, everyone loves a slinky." LOL Isn't it funny how something so simple can stick around as long as this toy?

Oh and what Palmetto Pixels said!!! GREAT

This is a very interesting abstract. I like the texture to the image and it's a very unique lighting scenario. The composition is spot on. Good job!

Well, hmmph. This is an excellent image, and I honestly don't know how to score it. It's beautiful. It's a winner for technical excellence. Great composition, perfect color, great sharpness, yadda yadda. I just can't see "painting with light", you know? Did you think "make a painting by using light" and use a couple of sources, or did you somehow manage to move a light really accurately and consistently during your exposure? This is too smooth, too perfect, and too sharp to have been done the way I think of as "painting with light". I want to score it high and ignore the challenge, but I don't want something of debateable nature to win the challenge - and I think this could. Should I drop my vote because I don't think it's really "painting with light", or should I vote it high because it's awesome and ignore the challenge? Either it really deserves to win or it really doesn't. I'll come down on the high side but punish you :) by a point... 9

i would not say that this was done in a creative matter (the lighting) the photo it self is pretty, but could use some drama
