Mount Vernon Cemetaryby IvoryComment by SaraR: The textured over-lay suits the image. Perhaps a bit bright in the middle ground, and for me a touch too much orange in the sepia toning. |

The Coming Stormby IvoryComment by dtremain: Interesting lighting and use of selective desat. For me, bisecting the image with a slightly crooked pole just.... argh... |

The Coming Stormby IvoryComment by Melethia: I like the centered approach, but not as fond of the selective coloration/desaturation. Would love to ride that bike path on the right. |

The Coming Stormby IvoryComment by ambaker: I like the image, but it seems like there is a bit of a halo around the sign. Especially the upper right. The clou looks much lighter, than on the left side of the pole. |

R.D.by IvoryComment by JakeKurdsjuk: Right mood and look, and extremely well done. It lacks a sense of woe that I get from MEM's work, which is the only reason I'm stopping at 8. He's just a little too well put together and clean. |

R.D.by IvoryComment by ShutterRev: I like this image for this challenge a lot. It is a touch of a nod to the Apocalypse Now era Dennis Hopper photos, at least from how the model looks. I gave this a 9, I think a little more lighting balance, and sharper focus on the eyes (since he is making contact) would have been an easy 10. |

Alien Hybridby IvoryComment by blindjustice: Originally posted by posthumous: It's an exciting story, certainly, but I couldn't stop wondering why leopards would need their own planet. I suppose doing the nasty with a leopard is easier to handle on a spaceship. |
-Don't worry about this guy. I get it- the leopards are from earth and the "human type" aliens with shiny nails come and mate and make "hybrids" with the cats. nice! |
