I shot this picture using my desk lamp and a red light bulb with a cutout piece of paper over it. So, no, it is not a contact lens. ;) I then stared into the light and tried to position it directly around my pupil...you can see it's slightly off underneath, but I got it pretty close. I think this was about the 4th picture of about 10.
Being new to this website, I was unsure of the Basic Editing rules about color treatment. So, I just left it as red and tried to somehow incorporate it into the title. Are we able to change the RGB if it is applied to the entire photo?

what an awesome idea!! i love this shot. the reflection's position is just right, and the clarity of the shot is great as well. the only thing i'm not so thrilled about is the color treatment, but the shot is just grand!

Interesting shot. The red is a bit much. I think the DOF needs to be improved in the eye itself as the reflection is what's important for this challenge. 6
