My guess is that it was backlit, but I think more emphasis should have been put on the backlight rather than the ambient light. Maybe shooting this with a light coming from below and behind as the only light source? |

The daffodile shows such an exquisite royalty & mysterious strength in observable frailty. One of the earliest blooms of the season, it shows its colors weeks before its flashier competitors who are all slow getting out of the bed due to "extreme" cold. |

It may be just in saving it to the size needed to enter it you may have lost some detail of the white petals, that is all I can see that would make this even better. |
