lol. brought back memories - lovely skin tone, the black in her top makes a great frame.. and the glint of her ear ring is the right finishing touch given the title, letting the child made necklace be the focal point..that all spells out mom to me .. nicely done!

I love the necklace. I think and this is just me that if you had done it with a childs hand either in the back as if closing it or in the front touching it, that it would be even more touching to me.

I was in a hurry entering this -- it was after the site had gone down and I didn't know how long they'd leave the challenge open to entries -- so I didn't note how I made the image. It's simple, really. Filters for the NIkon Coolpix are 77mm and attach to a lens hood which encloses the lens as it zooms in or out. This is a wide-angle image of a handful of marbles arranged on the lens hood with the camera on its back on the tripod, and a light-saber battle (yes really) going on above the camera. Eight-second exposure, and voila.
