Focus appears soft but not intentionally so.

poor subject layout, improper lighting and simply doesn't create any real interest for the viewer. Try using critique club at this site. They'll have you shooting like the pros in no time.

lol made me giggle that it was Too Late for that cake, but this is just a photo taken for a scrapbook. Some photo editing would make it look spectacular and keep fit wtih the rules at the same time. Maybe put it in grayscale and burn the spoons a little to make them stand out? I'm not sure what to do with this but probably center it next time too.

This image is a bit plain to me; nothing stands out. Perhaps taking a shot of a single piece of cake among the remains of the entire cake and entitling it "Still one piece left" or something to that effect would have been a bit more interesting.

got the idea, it really fits but... somehow this looks like a snapshot, really unappealing, hard to love. Sorry

I think iit's a little creatiive having the shadowed breast in the foreground but unfortunately it makes the photo look like it's just a bad photo that someone got in the way of. Compliments to the model for her bravery. You captured some cool shadows on her body but again the foreground pulls you away from it - 4

Comment by L2:
This was a risk. The lighting is brightest on the chest, which makes the nudity seems gratuitous rather than an artistic shot of someone who also happens to be nude. The lack of focus is a technical deficiency that cannot be overcome. The large shadow is very distracting and doesn't add much when considering visual interest. It's good that you tried something different, but overall this shot has too many technical issues to be a winner.
