Nice photo and execution, but the composition is a bit off IMO (which is understandable considering this is a self-portrait). I would like to see the entire subject and not-quite-so-center. Also, the reflections are a bit distracting.

I think the model is beautiful. I love the look in her eye. It does indeed pierce you. The filter applied adds to this image, giving it a more dark appeal. I feel an entrapment, but not necessarily one that isnt wanted. Her lips seem to give the despair feel, with yet a hint of a smirk, but those eyes, they tell a different tale. Almost like the damsel in distress who turns out to be the bad guy. Her look almost gives me a "spider and fly" feel. As if she is saying, come into MY web. Just my take on it. Very nice capture

Interesting shot. I'm not a fan of the way her hand is over her one eye, it makes the eye look really dark and off balance IMO. Have it drop down a bit so we can see the white of that eye too. I do like the hair in her face, and the (I'm guessing) threads running through the foreground give it more of a dark feeling, as does the grainy, photocopy-style lines running through it. As far as filter experiments go, I'd say this is a success.
