Piercing Stareby Sunshine86Comment by fotomann_forever: I had to be really nit-picky to find something I didn't like about this image. And, that would be the frayed string over the pointer finger.
I particularly like the messed hair and the way her eyes pop with whiteness.
Ofcourse you know I also admired your DoF image and what I told you about it ;-) Keep it up, man. We'll be reading about you some day. |

Piercing Stareby Sunshine86Comment by brizmama: Hmm. I am still going over this... I think it seems busy. I like a lot of the individual elements but all of them together are too much. The filter, the lines,& her hair in her face are all fighting for my attention. If you are going for a shot to make someone stop in their tracks to study it then I think you have that here- if chaos is the subject (meant in a good way) then well done. I hope this all is coming across okay. I am sleepy. Overall- I like it, it's just a little busy. |

Piercing Stareby Sunshine86Comment by mpeters: I think the composition is overall good. Possibly drop the hand down the cheek an inch or so. I like the lines in the foreground but dont really care for the filter treatment. I would suggest letting the photo/model speak for itself and drop the filter. JMO and keep it up. |

Piercing Stareby Sunshine86Comment by kari1: This is a fantastic picture. The concept is lovely, I like have you have given the picture and worn look with the vertical grain.
The minor issue is the layout of the thread which is coming apart above/showing on the models hand and the bits of it looping - this may be intentional but ... I found this distracting. so only a minor issue and not one that really makes a lot of difference.
Overall, fantastic concept, neat execution and the changes I would like to see are only for my benefit and others need not agree.
Cheers, Kari |
