I don't think that you would want to improve this too much.
I think it's great as is.
I like the darkness on the left nd rght, leads the viewer into the shot.

High bridges over waterways and gorges can be especially intimidating, as can be very long or very narrow bridges. LOL!! I hope this isn't true for you.
