DSC_3806by ryandComment by SJCarter: Great long exposure. Love the movement and minimalist composition. Not as crazy about this one in B/W, but that's a personal preference. I think that the highlights here (at least in B/W) are a little strong on the pylons. Otherwise, I just love this - and a great series too. |

Last One Standingby ryandComment by SJCarter: Extremely effective use of selective desat. So often this is overdone or just doesn't quite fit. You achieved just the right balance. Well done. |

DSC_4960by ryandComment by SJCarter: I'm such a sucker for a good bird shot. This is great! The lighting is just a hair on the harsh side, but the intensity of the bird's stare and crouch is amazing. Very smart capture. |

DSC_2653by ryandComment by SJCarter: One of my favorite little winter fellas... The black-capped chickadee. They're actually mean little suckers and very territorial, but great fun to watch. Nice capture. |

DSC_9509by ryandComment by SJCarter: Even though the highlights in the fast water are a bit blown, the POV is unique and very effective. Were you lying down to get this? Must have been. I really like the fact that you are at the water's level. |

DSC_0785by ryandComment by SJCarter: Great focus/DOF. I like the crop - despite the fact that it cuts into the macaw/parrot. By bringing the viewer in clower, you allow for more detailed appreciation. |
