Very cool idea, and a great one for this challenge might I add. Execution is laking somewhat though. The blacks in the reflection cause this to be lost some up against the black BG, also all the other stuff going on in the relections are very distracting. I would suggest using either a light tent or painting with light in a very dark room for this sort of object.

You really did do a good job of getting a great "expression"! It looks as though the light was fairly strong for this shot, resulting in the loss of some detail.

hahaha it looks like this puffin has a combover. i love that its mouth is open, that adds a lot of interest to the picture, instead of just another bird IMO

it's a little bit noisy for me but a nice capture.

The white of its head looks a tad overblown on this monitor. I'm going to have another look at this pic on a different monitor and see if it's my monitor. You might get a bump tonight :-)
