Not really getting a feeling of panning in this shot. The guy in the background is also distracting. In fact he is the only evidence of motion in this shot (aside from the fact that the subject will be coming down at some point)

It's great when you manage to isolate the face with these shots. You did this well.

The handgun here is a Glock 22 (.40 S&W caliber). I put a small light in the chamber to illuminate the inside of the barrel.

From what information I can gather, this is indeed polygonal rifling (look at //www.firearmsid.com/A_bulletIDrifling.htm ). You can actually see that there is a very gradual transition between the lands and grooves in the barrel.

If it's polygonal that means it's HK, not the Glock that most of us were thinking. The reflections make it hard to tell.

Maybe it would have looked better if rotated 90 degrees CCW

Ok, I will give you benefit of the doubt here, because it is a good centered shot, clarity and sharpness are there. But for those of us that have lost some to suicide its really a hurtful and painful shot. To think that Suicide was put off last year is quite disturbing. It IS a powerful image I will give you that, but at the same time I guess I don't understand how it was brought into the procrastination challenge. I surely hope there is nothing TOO deep about this shot to you, as in its something you've contemplated. Maybe I looked to deep into this shot, but like I said I recently lost someone to suicide so you can see where I am coming from. Good luck in the challenge. 7.
