I used a photoshop filter to creat the effect, however check out the original version in my portfolio its one of my favorites.

Very nice photograph, the composition is great. What I can't figure out is if that is falling rain or some sort of PP filter, I only wonder because the rain/grain I'm seeing is going in a different direction near the top. The tones are great and the windmill really stands out against the sky. Great job!

Neat old building and good colors. I have mixed feelings about the foliage on the right. I know what your intention is, but the building is so interesting, I'd rather see more of it, and the foliage gets in the way.
