definitely a stranger, but not a strange in a strange land, cudos on the lighting, shape and form, shadow, and pattern which are all elements of design that make for a quality picture.

Great Idea. Maybe you could have removed the cover and the five middle supports. This would have removed the distracting shadows. I still like it. Jacko.

This is a lovely photo. At first I felt it was a little dark but I found that darkness to be appropriate and added greatly to the overall mood. There is power and drama in the lighting and composition and it works quite well as a black and white. There is strong sense of motion in the grass I even thought I saw it move once. Probably just too much coffee for me. I'm not quite sold on the cropping, though. Maybe only because I am so used to a more conventional crop. It seems like ther might be a little more sky than necessary. It's one of those images that demands to be seen large so the viewer can enjoy all of the interesting details in the grass and the lighthouse. Without seeing the original scene or the original photo I am hardpressed to find anything significant to change except for maybe the proportion of the crop and that is iffy. It appears to be very clean and sharp. It clearly nails the challenge theme. I also like the simple border. If all borders were handled this way I would be more in favor of them. Ok, I found one thing to nitpick. That one piece of grass that is standing straight up should be leaning too :- ) Awesome photo. Congratulations.

Hard to get even exposure over the whole length of the carton. The eggs on the right are just a bit bright. I like the texture of the carton and use of light in general.
