Yes its the William Preston Lane Bridge otherwise known as the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, and yes its in Maryland. The water was as common as I've ever seen it, by mid-day there is usually a 2 to 4 foot chop to this part of the bay. It was a gray low contrast morning, but luckily there was just enough breakup in the clouds to allow for this gorgeous sunrise shot of the Bay Bridge.

This could have used some Photoshop work to give the color in the photo a bit more punch. It's too flat for my taste.

Picture needs more contrast and perhaps exposing one stop lower to allow for a deeper blue in the sky.
