This is a good shot, but I'd place it in a holiday album rather than a night shot competition. I think it would be slightly more impressive if the back ground were more interesting, and there was less light that wasn't caused by the fire. I'll give you 8 for the skill of capturing, but 4 for the scene, setting and relevance. So I leave it at 6.

Excellent shot, great feeling of motion. Very dynamic. Might have cropped off the section on the right to lose the slightly distracting street light, I don't think the loss of the other figure in the background would have reduced the impact.

Everything is blurry in the picture, maybe if there were some sharp details in the backround, this picture would do better.

Nice shot. I think we're going to have to add fire poi to the list of DPChallenge cliche images along with waterdrops and martini glasses. :) This one is extra nice, though, with the crowds watching in darkness and the two separate dancers.
