i think why this image scored a 5.2 is for a several reasons, mostly in the details. The lighting, personally i think this shot doesnt lend itself to the lighting you choose, maybe if you had brought another light on the other side so that shadow wasnt so deep (but that is style, others may disagree). normally i would always side with a nice sharp, clean image, but i think in this application a soft focus would have been better, after all, its a soft, intimite scene. The angle is lovely, her body position is decent (i would have placed her hand on her breast not shoulder, personally) but theres nothing in the backround to make the image pop out. maybe a wider angle (or different one) would have helped.

Unfortunately it's a very well camouflaged goose, so it's rather lost in the patterns on the water
