How do I say.....Hello?by albc28Comment by levyj413: I suggest reshooting if you can. Try not to cut off the top of her head. That kind of crop works well when you're in tight, but here it just looks off. Also watch out for bright backgrounds. Finally, look for better focus. |

How do I say.....Hello?by albc28Comment by livitup: I wanted to leave you a comment on this photo...
This photo speaks to me.
One has to read the title, and the challenge discription, and think about it for a second... and then it hits you.
This is not top notch photography, technically speaking. I'm not going to go into the technical problems with this photo, because I'm sure other commenters will. But for me, the tehnical rawness of the capture adds to the feeling of shyness, of subversion required to get the photo, of dispair of the photographer for never being able to talk to this girl.
A 10 from me, though I doubt you'll get out of the bottom quarter of the challenge, because so many voters here don't look past the glitz and flash and moderate oversaturation. Keep taking photos that mean something. |

How do I say.....Hello?by albc28Comment by lovethelight: I'm not sure how her facial expression, the messege on her shirt and the title all fit together. Something feels off for me. I'm guessing that the blown out right side was done on purpose but its not really adding anything to the photo for me. |

How do I say.....Hello?by albc28Comment by klstover: The technicals are pretty off. The head is chopped off, the background is blown out, and the focus could be better. However... all of that actually adds up, for me, to a good image. I just really like it. It is not the everyday portrait and I am liking that uniqueness. |
