This is a great start, but I think the boat and the water need more contrast to really make the silhouette of the fisherman "pop" out at us. The shoreline is too close to his head and he almost blends in. Horizon line is tilted up to the right. The sky could use some contrast and saturation adjustments as well. Good luck in the challenge. :)

hmmm. unfortunatly nothing is in sharp focus and the horizon is terribly slanted.

Nice idea, but I think for better impact the fisherman should be more isolate. He's too close to the shoreline the way this image is framed.

I almost passed this one over as just another scenic shot until I saw the title. It's a nice shot but you get my vote even just simply that you're there. Everyone in that area is in my prayers.
