Very simple but very effective at the same time. The shallow DOF makes your flower stand out even more. The only thing which bothers me a little is that your flower is so centered.

Very nice portrayal of colors and nicely focused. To me the DOF makes this dandilion look extremely tall or like the blossom is sitting on a glass over the lawn. Messes up my depth perception. I know that some have long stems...but maybe if this picture showed part of the stem in focus, it would make it look more in porportion.

Centering the suject works well here as it has a good contrast in colour and texture to the unfocussed background. Good framing.
