I do not see how this fits into the challenge theme of Something New. The crop / composition is not executed well. If you were going to reshoot this, I would suggest taking it either early in the morning or later in the afternoon when the sunshine would better demonstrate shadows and textures.

I wish I got the purpose of this photo, assuming that it is a new photo idea that you've never tried before. ?!? in terms of the photo, the grass at the front that is out of focus is quite off putting, also you might as well make use of the full size to get the greatest impact. I hope your comments explain what its all about :)
