The focus is on the bridge of the nose. I realize you may have done that purposefully because that's the center of the photograph, but it bugs me not to have the focus on the eye.

Please understand that I'm not a cat person, and cat's aren't fond of me either. Plus there are an inordinate amount of felines in this challenge.
..That said, This is far and away the best cat shot I've seen and I am happy to rate this in my top picks for the challenge.
Beautiful expression and excellent detail. You did not appear to need the ubsharp mask to bring out the fine edges. Well done.
