Battby sethparagComment by adeldegan: Out of focus, would have preferred to see all red background, the white is distracting. |

Battby sethparagComment by glad2badad: It's tough to have an item this close and get everything in focus. Sometimes even a deep aperture (i.e. f22) won't do it. If you back up and zoom in it can work - experiment some. Anyway, point I'm making is the battery laying down isn't in focus and neither is the very top of the standing battery. Focal point is on the standing battery about 1/3 of the way down (you can tell by looking at the text). I don't know if the little piece of white was an accident or on purpose, but it actually adds to this photo. Another thing to look at is sizing. You're allowed a maximum of 640 on the long side, you've only used 500. Always take advantage of the larger size for better impact and detail. JMO of course. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

Battby sethparagComment by colorcarnival: I usually root for the abstract but this has my a little puzzled. Is it like being at bat in a baseball game? That is what your title makes me think. Otherwise, I am not totally sure of what you are showing. |
