Miredby OlyuziComment by JEM: Meets challenge. Ugly subject, and DPC voters generally do not like that. Focus a bit soft. Work on more attractive settings, and be careful within the limits of your camera's ability. |

Miredby OlyuziComment by Imagineer: This doesn't grab me I'm afraid. It's a bit busy and with too little 'reward' after establishing what the subject is. I think if this shot were able to include a lot more lateral context then the boat would look even more stranded and isolated. |

Miredby OlyuziComment by inspzil: The placement of the boat in the frame seems too high up. I like where it is in regard to left or right placement. |

Rising Above It Allby OlyuziComment by inspzil: I don't like how this one is framed. I'm not sure I have a better alternative in mind right now, but I think this should've come out toward the center some. I think it should probably fill the frame a little more. The crappy sky in the background in my eyes contributes nothing. If it were all dark, it would provide some contrast. The dark clouds dull the mood of this nice piece of architecture though |

Rising Above It Allby OlyuziComment by Rasai: Very Interesting. What is it? I was under the impression that there are strict rules on displaying 'Old Glory' and wonder if this complies? THe background behind the stars looks very nearly black rather than blue. THe tree branches in the lower left give the photo a nice 'Plumb" . |

21st Century American Roadsideby OlyuziComment by dsidwell: Looks nice with a retro-space age look to it. I like the colors and your emphasis of the lines and windows. I'm not sure the empty foreground does much, but this is an interesting image. |
