The DOF is very good in this image, but there is so much blurry background that it almost is difficult to look at. I think had you either cropped tighter around the subject, or moved in, or zoomed in, some more, it would have been a more effective picture...especially if you had concentrated on the bird and flowers.

At first I thought this was a flying frog :-) Its face does kind of look like a frog doesn't it? Good composition, the main subjects are in focus and the background nicely blurred out. Maybe just a little too much motion blur as some of the wing has disappeared. Perhaps a faster shutter speed could have improved that. The lighting is perfect - 8.

This is so close to being an amazing shot, the colours, lovely motteled background are both wonderful. It is just a shame that the wings and body of the bird/butterfly(?) have been lost, if there was more detail, it would have been perfect.
