How this could have gone unviewed since you uploaded on May 9th, I don't know. It is a wonderful image and the reflection is spectacular. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to adjust the levels a bit and maybe the contrast to make the image more vibrant overall.

Welcome to DPC. Now that you're here, let's start learning. I disagree with markopella, as I do NOT believe that this is a bad photo. It is just too small for the voters to see what's going on there. Always, always, always use the 640 px dimension that DPC allows. Going significantly below that is a sure way to get hit with some low scores. Unfortunately, its also impossible to provide a fair critique on the image this size. I hope to see one from you that is larger in the next challenge.

this is a cool little building. Is the red really there or was it an error of some sort? Would really be nice with some red reduction or maybe converting straight to black and white. Looks like you meant to enter this one in the challenge instead of the small one...too bad, it probably would have fared much better.

What an entrancing place! The reflection of the old mill is the highlight for me.
I wonder what this would photograph like very early or late in the day....or even different seasons. I bet this looks great in all seasons.
