What I like about your shot is that you have found a creative angle/perspective to take it from. I also like the lines on the floor.
What I do not like so much is the sepia tones, they are sort of flat. I also think that I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to flower shots in that I like them with color, in that is so much of what makes them flowers, and to use sepia ages it. I guess if you have a really good reason to do that it would be ok. It also does not seem to have much texture, but that could be a limitation of your camera. Try getting a little closer to your subject next time.

The background seems off, though having the tile lines at a diagonal was nice. Also, I like it, but it doesn't seem to me strongly to fit the still life theme.

Flower shot - problem with a flower shot is that you will have hundreds of others to compete with (incl mine) and you need to make your photo stand out - do something diferent. I have exactly the same problem with mine - although a nice shot - like yours - there is nothing to make it stand out.
