A Dragon's Droolby meendeeComment by BigK: Very crisp and pleasing image. There is a hair or something sticking out on top which I find a little distracting. Nothing major though. :P |

Downright Failureby meendeeComment by kari1: ::: Critique Club :::
Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
Size is important when creating an image, and working to the maximum size is best .. . try and get at least 640 on the long side to maximise the potential of a shot.
Composition:
Interesting woody and woody almost both of thirds.
Subject:
I really love this shot ... it is only the size that let it down to me.
Technical (Colour and light):
I like the creation of using the foil or the background of the shot.
To grow its vote?:
Think about size, think about impact and light. Think about the rule of thirds (google it) .. this will keep you on the way.
Summary:
Great first entry I am impressed .. imagination and an eye.
If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via
the PM system.
Cheers

Downright Failureby meendeeComment by ericwoo: I can still see a fair amount of detail, but it's still a bit too small. Interesting concept and nice lighting, but always try to use your full size parameters that DPC offers. |
