Dahahaha. That's the funniest darn rooster I ever seen! Hilarious. The dynamic tilting of the horizon line really works well. It gives the sense that he's tilting his head to the side without it actually being tilted, which would look funny. It also adds to his confused look, like maybe your grabbing him by the legs and spinning him around or something! The red contrasts well with the blue sky and green grass. This shot would be perfect without the tractor or whatever that is. Marvelous capture. I'm hoping you get a ribbon (Roosters have in the past, so it seems likely...)

Chickens are great, aren't they? Yours has great character, but there's a few things that detract for me:
I would have liked the face a bit sharper, specifically in the area of the eyes.
There's a shadow across his right side that I don't think is effective.
The white feathers on the right are a bit too bright... you can't make out the details.
The background takes away from the composition: The white path and tractor(?) distract the eye from the chicken, as well as the horizon cutting across the face.
The red thingy above the face is too deeply saturated... you can't make out any detail in it.
Phew, that's it now! Good picture otherwise! 6
