brown-on-brown.jpgby oravsky123Comment by Greetmir: Sorry, I think you missed a bit ... would love to see this shot done with F 8.0 or smaller ... the OOF and DOF does not help you separate your subject from the background at all here ... I think you are gonna need very sharp lines on the subject and maybe a tad more light?
I love the colours but ... I cannot get past what I have said above to like this photo. |

For me, I would like more drama in the clouds and just a touch more detail in the foreground.
Quite dramatic as it is though. ;o) |

Feb1207-1543.jpgby oravsky123Comment by Telehubbie: I like the dark effect of what you're going for, but there's nothing to really grab on to in the photo. It would be perfect if there were a bare tree or something on the left to give a final resting place for the eyes. |

Bad Day!by oravsky123Comment by glad2badad: Please tell me this isn't your kid and you let him be sad while you took his photo?! You've certainly grabbed an emotive shot. I guess being a parent it's hard to imagine seeing a little one this upset and not picking him up right away - the heck with the camera. All JMO of course. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Bad Day!by oravsky123Comment by Trinity_12_12: Oh dear! He IS having a bad day! I like the fact that this portrait was taken in landscape. The positioning is perfect on the right with the baby looking 'into' the picture. I feel the need to cuddle him! |

Bad Day!by oravsky123Comment by hbrownie11: You captured great emotion from this baby. I am a mother of a 13 month old and she has her moments of major melt down also. |
