I (for one) like the exposure and colouring here, however, not so sure what this exercise in composition is? I like the fence in the foreground and the tall tree just off centre but am sure you could find a 'better' composition here, maybe square is not the right format? (or, is that what this exercise is about?)

Now, even at 59yrs old am heppy to be educated - 1 tree without leaves and 2 with, am guessing there are at leaat 2 varieties here but no idea whaat thy are called.

I like the blue toning. Although digital, it feels like you had no choice. This is a clue to a larger story. These little knobs and buttons we turn or press without paying much attention... until they don't work.
