Spire to Heavenby punk_kaosComment by punk_kaos: Originally posted by Citadel: the processing just seem a little off. This is especially evident in the clouds. |
I totally agree. This photo was shot in a 10 minute window between heavy rainstorms, and needed far too much processing to make semi-decent. I would have spot edited the clouds if not for this being a basic editing challenge. |

Spire to Heavenby punk_kaosComment by Yo_Spiff: Watch your JPEG compression. I can see obvious compression artifacts around the high contrast edges and some blockiness in the sky. Compression kills detail. At A 71K file size, you had another 230k of file size overhead in order to use less compression. I'm afraid that I'm somewhat anal about compression and seeing such avoidable artifacts does knock some off my vote. |

Blissby punk_kaosComment by TMStamp: The angle of the shot is a little distracting.. It would have been nice to better capture the kiss. And is that vignetting from your lens or intentional? |

Blissby punk_kaosComment by bassbone: great title to deliver the facial expression - i just wish the image was cropped in a bit to remove the 'do nothing' background |
