Postcards Challengeby mistComment by JuliBoc: Wow! This is soooo... much better. I'll give you a 10 on this one. I like those hills in the foreground that were blocked by the border in the old version. |

Greetings from Conisbrough Castleby mistComment by JuliBoc: I think this shot was under rated. I was one of the 6's. I agree about the over sharpening. Maybe you should try 'smart sharpen' if you are using CS2. That seems to create fewer, or less severe halos than USM. I like the concept of the transparent border, but on the bottom, it may be detracting from the feeling of distance to the castle. Maybe it would work better if it were the same width as the sides and top, or you might have to eliminate it all together. (You'd have to change the color of the text then.) I like your choice of font and the trees framing the shot. |

Greetings from Conisbrough Castleby mistComment by levyj413: Try reprocessing it with a little less sharpening and lot more contrast. I bet you can get those clouds looking pretty dramatic.
I like the trees framing the scene, but I agree that then the whole-frame border conflicts with them. |
