fireworks 025.jpgby optionComment by timfythetoo: Great capture on these fireworks. Alot of great lines all over the place. The colors seem a bit washed out though. If you tweaked them to make them a bit more vibrant that could be nice. Looking down now I see jdannels tweaks and I think they are pretty good. Fireworks are fun to shoot. Good capture. |

toad.jpgby optionComment by timfythetoo: Now that is one cool looking toad. Great colors. The glove blends in well. An angle that would have placed his bumps visible against the green to contrast the texture and the colors could have been nice. |

ptarmagin.jpgby optionComment by Pug-H: Come again? That's a ptarmigan? Interesting plumage.
As for the photo, there's too much dead space on the left that you could easily crop off. |

fireworks 025.jpgby optionComment by Pug-H: Good framing to get the whole of each burst in.
Yo're welcome to look at some of my firsworks shots - I go for the more abstract kind, though ;>þ |

toad.jpgby optionComment by Pug-H: That's a rather bumpy toad. I guess the glove was worn to reduce the ickiness factor in the person holding it (or its skin is poisonous).
Photographer's comments are helpful, too. ;>þ |

unuk ungus - draft.jpgby optionComment by PHOTOKID: If I didnt know any better I would say Ansel Adams is in the house! No seriously though, I love this shot, you did a wonderful job in B&W, I think the photo is nicely balanced with different tonals and highlights and shadows and I love how the cloud is just peeking over the mountain top in the upper left. Good Shot.
