Expressing the Prevailing Windby pixelpigComment by Melethia: Yes indeed it does! Lovely subtle interpretation of the challenge. If you use Photoshop, run an autolevels on this and see if you like the result. It brightens/lightens it up a bit. |

Buddingby pixelpigComment by pixelpig: Thanks for the compliments. I'm happy to've almost got a 6. That's what I'm shooting for. :) |

Buddingby pixelpigComment by GuGi: Actually my only 10 (lots and lots of 9's). Imho, you were robbed. :/
It is so inviting, so colourful. I like the focus, the crop. How this shot can get 5 2's and 18 3's is beyond me. |

Expressing the Prevailing Windby pixelpigComment by glad2badad: It's "ok". I think the limited range of movement for the windblown petal is making it more challenging to see "wind" in your photo. Some motion blur via a slower shutter speed would help but would introduce it's own set of problems to overcome (i.e. - the whole flower moving instead of just the petal). All of the above is JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |
