Ruins of a Dying Art.....by NikonJebComment by JAMESdoe3: i love the contrast and your use of grain - many submissions in this category appear washed-out, the impact sacrificed for grain rather than enhanced by it. however, your composition could be more engaging - what am I looking at? where are you leading my eyes? |

Night Timeby NikonJebComment by JuliBoc: I think there are two things that may have hurt the score. First, it seems a little washed out to me. You might try increasing the contrast, or bump up the gamma just a little. Second, the description of the challenge was "Time keeps on slippin, slippin', slippin... into the future". I don't see much here to show the "slipping" or the "future". For the record, I gave it a 7. I like the composition. |

Night Timeby NikonJebComment by bmartuch: Nice clear shot. Good colors and composition.
This is just a thought, but try standing at the base of the clock tower portion and shoot straight up. My wife did that at St Patricks Cathedral in Dublin and it was really cool looking. |

Ruins of a Dying Art.....by NikonJebComment by Trinity_12_12: Great mood, very desolate and foreboding! I like the symmetry and the grain is perfect for this type of photo. One small comment, the blown out pillar on the right is a bit distracting. |
