I Hate Winterby JawnyRicoComment by grbrya: Love the composition, although the photo is a bit tilted to the right (all the vertical lines are leaning too much). Also, try using the shadow/highlight feature to bring out some detail in the snow on the left. |

A Tasty Portraitby JawnyRicoComment by puzzled: Whoa, this is an elaborate and gorgeous fruit basket! Congrats on a good showing and a good entry. I think the lighting is great - you kept nearly all the glare off the fruits & veggies in the image. Dpc hates fancy borders :-) Can't do anything about it other than to stop trying fancy borders on dpc entries or live with the reaction, haha. Anyway, this is an excellent job - you're good, Sean! |

That's Amoreby JawnyRicoComment by HeiSch: good choice of your position for this picture. Very strong lines by the walk way and the lights |

A Tasty Portraitby JawnyRicoComment by LalliSig: Haha, well gotta agree with the border, sorry but it´s absolutely dreadful :)
You asked about the lighting and I actually think it´s pretty good. Maybe if you want more natural lighting is to use a big north window during the day and a tripod, but this is not bad lighting at all. I gotta say I don´t care for the backround though, either would have wanted it pitch black orsomething a bit more natural, like the fruit basket on the top of a desk and the backround out of focus. |

That's Amoreby JawnyRicoComment by Kavey: Interesting portrait - love the way the lovers are shown in their environment and are just a small part of it and yet still a focal point. The leading line of lights and the curve of the cinema hall both add compositional strength too. |
