I find this visually interesting. It makes me ponder, what am I looking at? The exposure seems a bit noisy and not real sharp, which detracts a bit from the overall quality. Nonetheless, an original artistic idea.

I think the hand is actually a distraction here, I wonder if it would have been possible to do something with just the play of shadow and light through the ripples... maybe with a rubber duck or something that it looked like it belonged there to provide a focal point.
