The foreground is great. it's shows how far away from people. the only thing is the telephone pole shows it cinnected to dpchallenge!

I am sure you will not be doing well with this one, but I'm in love with it. I thin k it's a wonderful, deadpan-evocative image, hollow and desolate and poignant, and I am giving it a 9. For me this has the essence of "personification", int he sense that the place itself seems freighted with expressed emotion, without you having to use any gimmicky tricks to express it. This is the real thing. Good luck to you!

Consider rule of thirds on the horizon, less mud & puddles would improve the picture.
