Something Wicked This Way Comesby dacrazyrnComment by CassieDoodle: I find it funny that no one said anything about DNMC until after it was DQ'd. Talk about kicking a guy when he's down...
I'm still undecided if it is DNMC or not, but that's just my observation. |

Something Wicked This Way Comesby dacrazyrnComment by hahn23: So, what happened to your original image file? I gave this a "5", because it's very good, but it totally ignored the challenge description requirements. No, the Earth is the Earth... not a part of the sky. And, I see no stars or moon. The challenge was supposed to be about showing the night sky... with stars, planets or moon. It's a mystery to me as to why you gathered in so many "10" votes without meeting the requirements of the challenge. A mystery indeed! If I had done this, I would have received 93 "1" votes!!!! LOL!!! I live in Colorado. I am sure there were big T-storms somewhere in Colorado on June 2, 2008. It's a mystery as to why you were not be able to supply an original image file. Care to help us understand and be sympathetic? |

Nope, I thought the same thing and I know one other who agrees. I gave it a 5... had the challenge description not been so specific I might have given it a 7 or 8.

What happened with your originals?
This might be a once in a lifetime subject, but the talent should always be there. Keep up the good work!!. |

Something Wicked This Way Comesby dacrazyrnComment by one2one: Totally sucks about the DQ. I don't think it's fair, but...
No stars, planets or moon. To me this was DNMC but I think I was the only one who thought so (apart from the three 1 votes). It's a beautiful image of a lightening strike but not a night sky capture as was expected and described.
